2024 PGA JR League

The PGA Jr League offers a fantastic opportunity for young players to learn and enjoy the game of golf in a fun and casual environment. Through team practices and matches, participants will not only develop their skills but also foster a lifelong love for the sport.

Here’s what you need to know about our PGA Jr League program:

  1. Designed for Growing Skills: Ideal for junior golfers who have some prior experience with golf camps or clinics, our league focuses on skill development rather than just learning the basics.
  2. Exciting Season: The season comprises 6 matches and 6 practices, with matches scheduled on Saturday afternoons starting in May. Practice days and times will be determined based on team rosters.
  3. Player Expectations: All players are required to walk during matches. Pushcarts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, but having your own is recommended for convenience.
  4. Emphasis on Fun: While there’s a competitive aspect to the league, our primary focus is on fun. We believe that enjoying the game is essential for long-term engagement and success.
  5. Affordable Pricing: The cost for the season, including the yearly game-changer fee, is $309.

About Youth Instruction

At Glen Oak we are excited to work and develop our future golfers. Using the ADM (American Development Model) and LTAD (Long Term Athlete Development) approach we work on developing your junior’s physical literacy alongside their golf skills.

While we look to help your junior learn the lifelong game of golf, we also recognize that juniors are often engaged in other activities that require physical skills. Our classes will help develop their ABC’S (Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed) of physical activity, while tying it all into the game of golf. Golf is a game, and games are meant to be enjoyed. Our classes are all about having FUN, and we aim to have a lot of it in our classes. Each session is first come first serve and once it is full, registrations for that class will close. You can sign up for as many sessions as you want. Let’s help introduce your junior golfer to a lifelong sport and have as much FUN as possible!
